ROOT approached me to craft a brand that felt fresh, modern, healthy, and accessible – a combination that's highly appealing to its target audience of health-conscious consumers. They wanted to emphasize the use of superfoods, organic ingredients, and the absence of artificial additives. as well as promote the time-saving aspect of their pre-portioned frozen smoothies. To create a modern and fresh look I utilised expected colour combinations with high contrast between elements - Think bold colours, edgy geometric shapes inspired by all those chopped ingredients, and plenty of space for the goods to stand out. I added a splash of neon green against light and dark backgrounds for that extra punch of freshness. A little rough concrete texture gives it an authentic edge. The use of clean brand imagery and playful copy reflects a modern, healthy lifestyle. The logo? Bold, simple, and straight to the point – just like ROOT itself.
